VeriFactu is the AEAT’s verifiable invoicing mode: every invoice carries a digital fingerprint and electronic signature and is sent to the tax authority. What becomes mandatory is using invoicing software adapted to the regulation (Royal Decree 1007/2023). The new date, announced by the Ministry of Finance on 5 October 2026, is October 2028 for companies and freelancers (pending publication in the Official State Gazette, BOE). In Yaigo, VeriFactu is built into the POS / TPV itself.

The Spanish Tax Agency does not homologate POS software. Yaigo is designed to meet the invoicing-software regulation (Royal Decree 1007/2023) in VeriFactu mode. Once the obligation applies (expected date: October 2028), keeping non-adapted software that can still issue invoices may be fined €50,000 per tax year (art. 201 bis.2 LGT).
